Banking careers are always bright as long as the economy of the country is dependent on banking. In India, Banking service Recruitment board (BSRB) conducts exams after publishing the advertisements in Newspapers and Employment News. The age limit for appearing for this exam is between 18 and 26. After clearing the exams, through a direct interview, candidates are recruited. Banking careers can also be built in many foreign banks that are now in India. Now, there are many foreign banks in India. Private banks are directly recruiting CA, ICWA ,MBA graduates.

Minimum 50% of marks in Higher Secondar Examination
Degree from a recognized university
The written exam consists of following papers
Reasoning Ability - This is a test for Mental ability. This depends upon how quickly you can solve a problem.
Quantitative Aptitude - This is test for Mathematical Knowledge. Mathematical Problems should be solved in this section.
Verbal Reasoning - This is a test for English language. Sentence writing must not contain any grammatical errors or spelling mistakes
General Awareness - This is a paper to test the General Knowledge of a person.
Probationary Officer Exam

Should be a citizen of India
Degree from a recognized university and Computer knowledge is preferred.
The written exam consists of two tests.
Objective test
Descriptive test
The objective test consists of papers as said in the Clerical Exam. False answers have negative marks i.e 0.25 mark is reduced for every wrong answer.
The descriptive test is of essay writing which contains 4 questions out of which 3 questions are to be answered.
Shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview in the order of their ranking as per the marks obtained by them in the objective test.
